Well, have been doing a little "quality checking" for Kristmess. I was her first CT, at Gottapixel, way back when. Then I decided to try my hand at designing, and had to leave her team. As I have a "little bit" of time, here and there, she was very gracious to offer me the opportunity to "work" (actually, have fun) with her again.
You can see the awesome Kristmess designs in the Gottapixel.com store.
I found some useful information about how to go about SELLING right here on my BLOG.When I get some down time, I am going to set this up so you can purchase my designs until I am able to get back into designing with a "real" site.
Dyanna and Cheryl, former owners of The Scrapping Garden, have opened a new store.
YEAH YEAH YEAH. Go to www.kisscraps.com to see the new store and gallery. Many of the designers from TSG have moved to Kiss ... it is definitely a site to check out.
As you know, I am preparing to market my home in a few weeks. I need to leave behind this huge house and move into a nice, cozy condo or townhouse. Since mom passed away, and my eldest son, Michael is "finally" able to move out on his own, I no longer need a 3 bedroom, two and a half bath house. I would much rather spend my spare time designing for you, rather than take care of house, pool, gardens, repairs ... well, you get the picture.
Today, my kids are all coming over, with a few of their friends, for a painting party. I have taken tomorrow off from work to finish, and probably "fix" mistakes the "kids" make today ... LOL.
In any event, check back here when you get the chance for more freebies, and insight into my life without design!
Here is a little QP freebie for you ... ENJOY.

I have left designing behind
...at least for the time being. And, let me tell you, it was NOT an easy decision.
Mom died on February 2, and March 1 was the anniversary of my Dad's passing. I have no siblings, and realized that I am IT! I am the "matriarch" of my family ... 2 sons, 1 daughter, and 1 granddaughter. It is almost terrifying; no longer have mommy and daddy to turn to.
So, I rather impulsively decided to close my stores and step back from designing for a while.
I need to clean out my house. I am putting it on the market in early Spring, hoping it will sell, and needing to purchase a condo for myself. Right now, I have a three bedroom, 2 and a half bath home, complete with inground pool, lots of lawns and gardens, and a huge driveway to
clear in the winter. I am in upstate NY, and that can all be quite a hassle. I want a nice, two bedroom condo, where someone else takes care of all the outside maintenance, and all I have to do is have fun decorating the inside!
Besides the daunting task of cleaning out mom's belongings, I also have "stuff" from my ex,
two return visits from my lovely (adult) daughter, and still have my eldest son living with me, due to his past financial issues. So, as you can see, besides a basement and garage filled with the "stuff" from others, my plate is just FULL, FULL, FULL.
I am really happy to see all the recent requests for me kits, though. So, I decided I am going to upload a few to FileSavr (no nasty viruses, yet), and offer them to my wonderful customers as FREEBIES. I hope you all enjoy them.
Who knows what the future holds ... I may be back, full speed ahead, after my personal life has settled down a bit. Afterall, I am hoping that the "designer" is still lurking deep inside of me!
Keep an eye on this blog for DOWNLOAD LINKS ... I actually have a kit in the making, and some completed recently, which I never offered for sale.

Happy Valentines Day ... AND ... a freebie!
I have not been around because my mom died February 2. Although she suffered from Alzheimers disease, she actually died rather suddenly. On Sunday, February 1, her body simply decided to "shut down"; 911 was called, she was unresponsive and eventually, became comatose. She passed painlessly and peacefully at 7:30 Monday morning. I joke that her body went to search for her mind, which was "lost" sometime ago! I am sure "she" is rejoicing her new life, in heaven, with God and all those who went "home" before her.
You will not regret it.
This photo was taken on Christmas day, 2008.
I am working on a gorgeous, vintage kit, to celebrate my mom. It is called 1923. You will definitely want to check back here, as well as my stores at TSG and Moo Two Designs, to watch for the preview and its release.
